About

The Centre Européen Schengen a.s.b.l. operates the Schengen Museum and the local tourism office. As a non-profit organization, we highlight the history and significance of the Schengen Agreement – signed here in 1985 as a landmark step toward Europe’s open borders.

Welcoming around 30.000 visitors annually, the museum is a vibrant place of European memory. Interactive exhibitions, educational programs, and events explore the path to freedom of movement across the Schengen Area. Rooted in our region, we promote exchange, dialogue, and international cooperation with a European outlook.
