Plan your visit
Even during the renovation period, Schengen is well worth a visit – you can still experience the spirit of the Schengen Agreement, a milestone of European integration, throughout the village. Our staff looks forward to welcoming you to our temporary visitor centre in the historic Koch’Haus, just a few steps from the museum site.
Please note: The visitor centre will remain open until 1 June 2025. After that, we’ll prepare for the reopening of the new museum on 14 June.
We offer:
- Regional and local tourist information
- Souvenirs
- Regional products
- Postcards and magnets
- Bicycle hire (including mountain bikes and e-bikes, rent-a-bike Miselerland)
- Official EU information material
